A Very Short Introduction of Journalism

In the book, A Very Short Introduction of Journalism by Ian Hargreaves, Ian briefly talks about what the difference is between how journalist in the 18th century and the 21st century handle their news.  In the 18th century, journalist had talked about "politicians, philosophers, the general public, anti-globalization, and religious groups." Which is normal to talk about but, some people had thought that journalist were loosing focus on what should actually had been said. We are now living in the 21st century where "technology has impacted the way major international events are reported", Ian Hargreaves says. It is a digital world where journalist can either find their sources online and doing everything electronically or go out on foot and do it like the old days.
