Christiane Amanpour is a British-Iranian journalist as well as a host. She has interviewed with many famous figures such as former President of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak. She was also the only journalist to ever interview him as well as Muammar Ghadafi, former prime minister of Libya. Along with interviewing some of the most powerful men in the world she is also one of the most influential journalists in the world. She not only is a journalist but also the Chief International Anchor for CNN. Along with CNN she has also done major work for PBS Christiane on PBS She has not only been in light of political news but has also made appearances in popular movies such as Pink Panther as well as Iron Man where she played herself. She has also made an effort to clear the name of journalists, as we all know they do seem to have a bit of a reputation but Amanpour claims, "And I believe that good journalism, good television, can make our world a better place."
