Found on Newseum, the left is the front page of a “TimesDaily” newspaper from Florence, Ala. USA and to the right is the front page of “The Anniston Star” newspaper from Anniston, Ala. USA. Both come from the same state yet are very different from one another. The “TimesDaily” newspaper is formatted in such a way where the main story takes up the majority of the page while the lesser stories are off to the side. Compared to the home owned newspaper, “The Anniston Star” whose layout is more evenly distributed, “TmesDaily” is making certain that what they believe is the most important news event catches your eye first. Such as local news of “Heavy rainfall pounds the Shoals” and “Rural residents urged to take survey”.
