Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D) has been in the spotlight recently because of her new proposed deal to congress. The New Green Deal is ultimately a plan to use resources we have today to build a greener tomorrow. These greener resources include: wind (windmills) and fossil fuels. According to gp.org, humans would need to move to 100% green energy by 2030, prioritizing in green research, and so on. This idea says Barney Frank (D), "would be a loser". He mentions that presenting all this change at once wwould not work. Non-renewable resources such as wind and water are perfect for creating whatever energy is necessary for an individual. It's when a government individual such as Ocasio-Cortez steps in and forces it upon the people, that is not a true republic. But hey, maybe one day my car will be powered by water. Who knows...
