In my last blog post I compared the difference of two front pages both from the U.S. but from different states, this time I am going to compare two front pages one from the U.S. and one from another country. I decided to do a newspaper from Dublin, Ireland titled “The Irish Times” The layout on this newspaper was fairly simple, with not a lot going on which I like. For the paper from the United States I decided to “ The New York Times” Newspaper because they have similar names. Again it had a fairly simple layout, but seemed to have more information on it. I liked the Ireland newspaper better because it was more simplistic and had less words so it was more appealing to the eye. I found an article from New York Times titled “Baseball’s Black Aces” interesting because I am a sports fan. The description about the article made me want to read it, “A select group of major league pitchers can its origins to Don Newcombe who died on Tuesday”(New York Times). Both newspapers were fairly similar with the exception of the news stories being different, as expected.
