One thing that unites people is tragedy. As sad as that is, tragedy brings people closer during the tough times. One of the worst tragedies the United States has experienced was the terrorist attack on 9/11 in New York City. The news spread like wildfire, and almost every country was quick to publish this information on their front page news articles. On the front pages, the words "terror", "evil", and "attack" screamed at readers for their attention. Almost every news article posted the infamous picture of the towers being scorched, burning like nothing anyone had ever seen before. The purpose of using such powerful words and images was to be able to get the attention of readers and to inform people of the tragedy that occurred.
