Fake news or propaganda

Reading Public Rhetorics

Inspired in part by Sharan Daniel's "Integrating Rhetoric and Journalism to Realize Publics" from Rhetoric and Public Affairs, this blog provides a space for students to explore rhetoric in their everyday lives.

Fake news or propaganda,
Its getting much harder to distinguish these days without having to research almost every headline.
Many headlines on the Trump tweet that the WALL construction is underway in New Mexico.

Researching a little more show that the wall was a "fence replacement for a higher fence structure according to customs and border patrol reports" (Scarry, 2019) as stated in many other news articles. The back and forth between the truth and the blurred lines of the facts in news articles that have so much bias on both ends of the scale. The left and right seem to be getting further apart.
