Social media has become a source with an unlimited audience where news can spread to thousands in a matter of minutes. Twitter and Snapchat are definitely some of our most popular sources for social media, but the way news is shown is very different between both. On Twitter, the news is sorted over what is trending, showing any drama, new technology, violence. For example, Trump’s wall has been a trending subject because of the government shutdown, or the new Samsung phone that folds. Snapchat has a different way of showing news. There is a discovery page with many pages to subscribe to see the news you want to see. Once you look into the page every tap has a different story and if you want to see more information you can slide up to see more. With Snapchat you have more control of what you are going to view, and it is also quicker with small teasers of different stories on each tap.
