Found on Newseum, the left is the front page of a “The Bakersfield California” newspaper from Bakersfield, Calif. USA and to the right is the front page of “Daily Sitka Sentinel” newspaper from Sitka, Alaska USA. Both are local newspapers yet are formatted very differently. “The Bakersfield California” newspaper used a very large image that takes up almost the whole page like a book cover, effectively showing readers that the focus of their paper is in regards to “[the] growing problem” of homelessness”; meanwhile, the “Daily Sitka Sentinel” newspaper has two small images on the top right corner and bottom left corner with many short articles crammed in between.
