International Intentions (Continued)

To complement my previously published blog post,
the Kalamazoo Gazette initiates more rhetorical
strategies that influence its audience members.
For example, one of the underlying subtitles reads
“U.S. troops brush off Iraqi volley” as if to say
“we are too powerful for your nonsense Iraq!”
Not only does this insensitive, subjective approach
to publish content uniquely generate a sense of
patriotism in audience members, but it further
embellishes on the idea that Iraq is the enemy
and all true Americans must hate them for what
they did. Although insensitive, this method is
ingenious, for it presented its content in a
memorable, creative way that influenced public
opinion [1 image, 1 link, 1 quotation, 108 words].
