American journalist and investigator Carl Bernstein, worked for the Washington Post in 1972. He was partnered with Bob Woodward who was also working with the Washington Post at the time and the two together had the best news stories. The one famous news article that was done by Carl and Bob was the Watergate Scandal. Both of them “did much of the original reporting” of that scandal. Even though scandals were going through or just passing by the President at the time, who was Nixon, “the work of Woodward and Bernstein was called ‘one the of single greatest reporting of all time’”.
