News Feed in Facebook
People nowadays rely on social medias to get news over newspapers. There are various social media apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter and all of these serve the same purpose of spreading news around the world. People also use these apps to keep up their daily communication with friends and acquaintance. With the help of
these apps people don’t need to manually find out news in newspapers or tv channels, they just pop up in the screen in the newsfeed. Facebook’s News Feeds objective is to “select the most relevant and engaging stories”. These stories generally get ranked from in order of importance. Facebook also ensures that news or updates that are very popular (i.e. have more likes or comments) are “higher up” in the News Feed. The most important or great thing about Facebook that it allows people to choose what they would like to see in their news feed more just by changing a setting.
