Lynsey Addario is an award-winning author and photojournalist. She is daring a person, who shares photos of dangerous places, such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. Scrolling through her pictures gives one a look into the despair in Syrian refugees’ eyes to a look of hopelessness in the eyes of a child in Africa, due to the prevalence of sexual assault in Madagascar. Her stunning photos bring to light a message that there is turmoil across the world, much of which we as Americans don’t see. Her pictures don’t even need captions to describe them; she does a wonderful job at capturing the moment. She wrote a book titled “It’s What I Do”, describing her life as the brave photojournalist.
