Inspired in part by Sharan Daniel's "Integrating Rhetoric and Journalism to Realize Publics" from Rhetoric and Public Affairs, this blog provides a space for students to explore rhetoric in their everyday lives.

Different news designs
The Newseum is a site that "displays front pages each day on its website" trying to gain publicity (Newseum Ed). Looking at the Newseum I was able to notice the different changes in newspaper styles. By implementing different unique techniques into the way you deliver your message it connects with the reader. The more attractive the cover is, more likely the individual is to continue reading. This is how most new stations and articles reach our attention, and it possibly could be a way to further persuade the reader into believing a false message. The concept of taking the time to further enhance the cover of the news articles is a great technique to get more consistent readers, because they become more interested by the eye catching material.
