Coming across fake news in one's online life is happening way more often than it use to. But how are we able to turn away the fake? One suggestion is to not be a sheep. When one notices the falseness of a fake news article, one should "encourage scrutiny" in order to get the audience into a "skeptical mind-set" (Chokshi). If one has reasons to believe something is false, instead of someone just telling them it is not true, they are more likely to decide for themselves that the information is indeed fake news.
