Although hoping to never have to experience a real emergency and tragedy, Lockdown and Evacuation Drills are required by every school. Such Drills are essential in order for students to practice either staying inside with locked doors because it is safer inside the building than outside, or to leave the building quickly in case of a hazard making outside safer.
