Plastic in our Oceans- 21 February 2019
The ocean is a place full of life and beauty, or at least it should be. In the Youtube video 'Plastic Pollution, Our Oceans, Our Future...', the producers smartly used Chad Onohi Paishon, who is the Na Kalai Wa'a Senior Captain of Hawaii, as a credible source of information. Additionally, they included statistics such as "There are 5.3 trillion pieces of plastic afloat in the ocean" and "By 2050, 99% of all seabirds will have eaten plastic & there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans", that pulled at the viewer's heartstrings. To further promote the cause, the producers included heartbreaking images of sea life suffering at the hands of human pollution.
