Gaming has blown up over the years by creating online
play across all networks. This isn’t just Xbox, PlayStation, or PC games; this
is with smartphones as well. The World Health Organization classifies gaming
addiction as a disorder. This is a concern with parents whose kids play games
the majority of their day. This could be helped with downtime of items by the
parents. In this day in age, with technology and a smartphone in our hand, it’s
extremely hard to put these things down. It’s “like gambling, gaming appears to
be on a journey similar to that of nicotine a generation ago”. This is extremely
scary what can happen in the future.
