Journalist in the midst of war

Kate Adie  is a British journalist and reporter that used to report live news from actual war zones. Her and her team would fly out to the location of many wars that were going on, to report about what was actually happening in the war. This gave viewers a real-time look into the war zone, and they got to feel the pain and fear that everyone in the war zone was feeling. Mentioning the way that reporting has changed, Kate states the type of reporting she used to do "has all but disappeared" and that reporters "can't be where the action is" which has removed the authentic emotion from the news and instead has reporters "reading what was on their laptops" (Adie).
