Jussie Smollett is best known for his role in the favorite sitcom “Empire.” On Jan 29 Jussie filed a police report he was attacked by two armed men who yelled racial and homophobic slurs at him. The outpour of support from celebrities have been tremendous. Many celebrities have spoken out expressing their support for the actor. Tweets from Tyler Perry and John Legend just to name a few have posted all over social media platforms rooting for Jussie. New substantial evidence has surfaced Jussie has falsified the attack that took place on Jan 29,2019. According to Assistant State’s Attorney Risa Lanier “Thursday Smollett plotted the attack with the brothers, paying them $3,500 to stage the crime. He also gave them $100 to buy a ski mask, red hat and other supplies to be used in the attack.” Chicago police chief believe the motive behind the alleged attack was to “To promote his career.” On February 20th the actor was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and filing a false police report.
