Poverty in Dallas

A growing problem that's happening in the Dallas area is increasing rates of poverty. For a city that has a thriving economy, this problem can take a large toll on Dallas if it's not fixed. My father who works in the Dallas and Richardson areas mentioned, "I see a couple of people on the street while i'm working in one of those areas." He used this quote to imply that it is a common problem for him while on the job. We can infer from this that this is a problem for anyone who works around the Dallas county area. Another person i asked was my girlfriend's step father. He does Uber and Lyft as  side jobs and mainly drives around anywhere in the Dallas area. "I'm out late at night most of the time," he mentions "no matter what time, i see people roaming around with a cart full of blankets and some bags." He wanted to put out that during late nights, people still have to sleep outside with only what they have to keep them warm. This concludes that it is a large problem and is noticed by a lot of people.
