PTSD & cardiac surgeries
Something else that I found quite interesting was I stumbled across a scholarly article over patients who have PTSD ( post traumatic stress disorder) following a cardiac (heart) surgery. I think something the journalist did that really caught my eye in this article was use the example that she used in the article in the title. What I mean by this is the title was “Post-traumatic stress disorder following cardiac surgery: A case report of a nine-year old female with Williams syndrome.” She used the example from the article at the very end of the title to make the article seem more interesting to read. She also put at the very end of the article that it was “educating healthcare providers.”
