It turns out that the R&B Superstar, R. Kelly has being charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse. Chicago Sun Times titles their article, “R. Kelly charged with sexually abusing 4 victims, at least 3 of them minors” (Chicago Sun Times). The media outlet uses bold black letters to headline and a specific choice of words, “at least 3 of them minors”. The new outlet choose these choice of words to imply that there is a good chance their are more victims to be minors without coming out and saying it. Meanwhile, the big bold black letters really highlight the article and showcase the importance of this issue.
