Schizophrenia

It is extremely interesting that journalists are writing and informing the world in on mental disorders that many people avoid talking about. A mental disorder that I saw often as I was looking through scholarly articles/journals was schizophrenia. As an individual who finds a lot of interest in health and the brain, this really caught my eye! I have studied different subjects such as microbiology, anatomy, and pathophysiology ,I had found on an article that the virus that causes mono or mononucleosis,is actually linked with schizophrenia as well. It says that schizophrenia can be linked due to the fact that "it might alter these patients immune system and make them more susceptible to EBV (Epstein-Barr Virus, the virus that causes mono)." The journalists made this article/journal appealing because the title contained strong diction such as "abnormal immune response."
