American women have started resorting to joining ISIS, in an attempt to destroy the west, their so-called homeland. President Trump spoke out on their behalf, stating his plans for their return. He made the executive decision to ban their return, even though they are American citizens. This has left the ISIS newcomers stuck in Syria. A journalist for the New York Times, questioned to two American women, who spoke of their regret in the choices they made. "One of them, 24-year-old Hoda Muthana, said “I can’t believe it. I ruined my life. I ruined my future,”. The act of banning their return has left them helpless in war-torn Syria, but their actions have had far more consequences than they even imagined.
