The Wall Street Journal Compared to Drudge Report
There are many different places to get news today. Many have distinct layouts that set them apart. The Wall street Journal and Drudge report are sites with similar purposes, but what sets them apart is their layout. When Looking at the wall street journal, the first thing you notice is the amount of space they use. Their site is filled with many ads and articles like “Trump Continues to Weigh EU Auto Tariffs” attempting you to click on them. When looking into Drudge Report, the first thing visible is the amounts of white space and simplicity in their work. Using their simplicity, it gives them ability to shadow their biggest headline “CNN: Muller Report Next Week” where everyone can see it. Despite the two differences in imagery, both have the same target audience and purpose.
