Turpin parents plead guilty

A heartbreaking case was found in California this January. The Turpin parents allegedly tortured their 13 children in a small, filthy home. Some of these children were actually legally adults. The parents are guilty of holding these children captive. Some of the abuse included shackling the children to "beds with chains and padlocks." The children were finally free following a brave escape of a 17 year old. She snuck out the window and called the police using a deactivated phone that she found. Authorities say that this is one of the worst cases of child abuse and adult abuse seen. He also believes that the court will rule for life sentences.
