Huge fire kills scores in old part of Bangladeshi capital Dhaka
On Wednesday, a car powered by compressed natural gas exploded at a bazaar in the capital of Dhaka, setting off the fire. It left about 70 people dead, as they were working in a factory, taking the citizens by total surprise. The building in which the fire soared through, was used to contain chemicals in the earlier years, which allowed the building to be engulfed almost immediately. Firefighters rushed to the scene, but were only able to extinguish the flames after a 12 hour battle. Due to the horrific events that took place, 25 people are still unidentified. "Many of the bodies were burned beyond recognition" and officials say these individuals might need a DNA test later on, to figure out who they are.
