News media can always be populated by biased information, discredited news stories and companies, and many other factors attributed to the term coined as “fake news”. People oftentimes believe anything the internet tells them and that's the audience fake news sources strive off of. In 2019 there was a claim that Donald Trump had signed a bible, and sold for “325” dollars. This was reported to be a fak and offend a high amount of Christians because it displayed disrespect for their religion. In the end, it was a hoax and was not a true signature of Donald Trump on that bible. It goes to show you that news sources will use a rhetorical appeal of emotions to prey off of the audience it targets.
