Apple News is an application that primarily used on Apple’s line of Mac computers, and their iOS devices in supported countries. The app is designed to “highlight the most important reporting and analysis from a diverse group of publishers”, and it does that well(Apple News About Page). The main aspect of the articles that is displayed is the images, which take up more space than any of the text. Following the image, or preceding it depending on the particular format of the article, is the article’s title. And, after that, the recency of the article is displayed to inform readers how fresh the content is. To make the user experience more enjoyable, the articles will even open up in the app, instead of jumping to a web browser.
