Plano Police Push to Close Gender Gap 

Men and women are viewed differently in a police department as it is believed to be "male dominant." Plano Police wants their working environment to be equal and neutral throughout the task force. Officer Dick, one of the female officers, believed that female officers shouldn't be looked down at or viewed as if they can't handle male's tasks. Even though she's little compares to her male coworkers, she states "[she] can do it" meaning as she can handle all the hard work and tests a male officer can do. Plano Police viewed female officers and "talk [their] way in" while male officers use "brute strength" to get things done.
