With the reallocation of funds due to the declared national emergency at our southern border, the governor of Puerto Rico has taken a strong stance with regards to the money his people should be receiving for disaster aid. In a recent interview with CNN, the governor Ricardo Rossello said in his interview that “If the bully gets close, I’ll punch the bully in the mouth”. President Trump soon responded and said that they are receiving the money but that “They don’t know how to spend the money and they’re not spending it wisely. But I’m giving them more money than they've ever got, gotten.” The governor has a reason to be upset because Puerto Rico is at great risk to hurricanes. But, this is not the approach he should be taking if he wants to get on the President's good side.
