Wolfe Making a Difference

Lauren Wolfe is a well known, leading journalist all around the world, she has worked for New York Times covering September, 11th, 2001 for 3 years, along with working for The Atlantic and The Guardian. Lauren was named one out of the five journalist that are “making a difference in the world” and here’s how… Wolfe is a “journalist and director of Women Under Siege, a journalism project on sexualized violence based at the Women's Media Center in New York”, and she is on the advisory committee to stop rape and gender violence worldwide. Wolfe likes to focus on women’s issues and that is what most of her career is based off of. For example, “In one case, Wolfe reported on a war crime in Eastern Congo. Hours later, the perpetrators were arrested.” Wolfe has and continues to do good all around the world with her reporting skills, good heart and involvement.
