Citizen Kane

Citizen Kane
Citizen Kane is a film from 1941 which is told from the eyes of an investigative journalist trying to figure out the mystery of the last words of his greatest friend and famous newspaper tycoon, Charles Foster Kane. The journalist goes to talk to different people in Kane's life and as he interviews them, the film goes through flashbacks to get down to the bottom of the mystery. The journalist is hidden in the darkness to put the main focus on the flashbacks on Kane. The film, even though it is a fiction, depicts the long and tough journey of a journalist. It shows off the relentlessness of the job as he investigates his best friend's death with no emotion or remorse. However, it also shows the disappointment in a mystery not being able to be solved by the journalist. The film is a tiring trip through the life of an acclaimed billionaire through the eyes of an incredible investigative journalist.
