Dishonest
Reporting
Do you believe it to be possible that two newspapers,
given the same set of facts to begin with, could possibly make two completely
different headlines? Well, believe it or not, this was the case in 2016 when
the New York Times and Washington Post each released their respective papers,
yet both papers produced a totally opposite headline about the Benghazi attacks.
“The key difference here seems to be deciding
whether to write about what's in the two-years-in-the-making report or what it
means — or more accurately, probably won't mean — for the 2016 election and
Clinton.” The headlines were referring to a report by House Republicans
regarding Hillary Clinton’s handling of the Benghazi situation while she was
the Secretary of State. This headline was too important for these papers to put
their own spins on. Our nation needs real reporting again!
