Finding Fake News
One of the fake news website is called Denver Guardian. This had a story about Hillary Clinton after her 2016 U.S. presidential election in which she lost. The article had a title saying "FBI Agent Suspected in Hillary Email Leaks Found Dead In Apparent Murder- Suicide" This shows that the title catches the readers attention due to because Hillary Clinton is a high figure in society. In addition, it stated that a high figure has committed suicide which is a big deal in today society. So readers finding this article in Denver Guardian would've believed it especially how "The Guardian" news outlet is well known too. So people would've thought that this website was affiliate with the big news outlet. In addition, the person that was behind this was Jestin Coler and he wanted to use the fake news articles for payments.
