How
is Fake News Created
Fake
news is created by the media, as news sources twist and spin any story they
want into a jungle of half-truths and opinions. News reports should not be opinions,
only the facts should be presented when discussing the breaking news. Fake news
can be defined as, “a
multi-step process that involves making or taking content that others have produced,
passing it off as real news, and capitalizing on social media to get as much
attention as possible.” When networks or newspapers take a story that is
not based on facts and present it as facts and news, that is when fake news is created.
