I ran into this story while browsing in Fact,check.org (link below) I often find that politicians on both sides of the political spectrum are often targets of fake news. I suspect that is because people who disagree will want it to be true. This is known as confirmation bias, looking for evidence that proves our belief. Obviously, this is fake in fact. According to fact.check.com” Guzmán didn’t testify during his trial. His entire defense lasted just one day, according to the docket, and extensive media coverage at the time shows he didn’t take the stand. So, he didn’t testify to anything, let alone that he had made payments to U.S. politicians.” One thing that almost immediately discredited the post is that they spelled Hillary wrong. The fact that such a glaring mistake was made tells you that its low quality. If this was real for connected to legitimate sources it would have had a better editor.
