A front page of a newspaper indicates what is to come. A picture can tell a story that is worth a thousand words. On Monday, February 2nd, 2019 news articles that covered the Super Bowl came out. One article stood out to me the most, Los Angeles Daily News published an article that had a picture of a Ram football player with a disappointed face. The caption that followed said it all, “Rams let their opportunities slip away, posting only 3 points against the New England Patriots in one of the least memorable Super Bowls ever”. Without the caption, the picture would have sold itself. It is apparent that the Rams are very disappointed in their self. I realized that just by looking at a photo and not reading the entire story it allows the reader to guess what has happened. A picture is worth a thousand words when that is all you have to go off of. [1 Image, 1 Link, 1 Quotation, and 158 Words]
