Real Or Disinformation?

Disinformation is completely different from misinformation. Disinformation is knowing the facts but taking it out of context. It is usually found on the internet especially on social media. In the news article Issue Brief: Distinguishing Disinformation from Propaganda, Misinformation, And “Fake News”, I found that Political campaigns use disinformation by applying  falsehoods and emotional appeals not to persuade or attract but to disrupt, divide, confuse, or otherwise damage target audiences”. In reading this article, I learned that political parties say things that might not necessarily be true and to not trust the first thing that I hear or see. I believe that political parties use these tactics all the time to fool viewers. This may cause voters to vote another way then they original were going to.  [1 Images, 2 Links, 1 Quotations, and 127 Words]
