After looking at many newspaper covers about the terrible event that happened on September 11, 2001,
I have noticed that many different news articles have different ways of spreading the news. In the first
article, the author is more focused on the fact that someone purposely flew into and blew up two of our
greatest landmarks, killing thousands of people. The tile “Who Did This” shows the reader that this article
is geared more to blaming who did this and talking about getting revenge, while the second article,
titled “Devastation” is more focused on celebrating the amazing bravery of all the firefighters and crew
that were at the scene of the fire, and it also mourns all the loved ones who died in the traumatic event.
Whether focusing on who caused this event or all of the innocent people that were killed, almost all
front covers that I have seen have a picture of the twin tower being blown up because this image
pictures the event and the destruction that it caused the city.
