Diane Sawyer

Diana Sawyer, a name very few do not know of. She is not only a journalist but has also broken records as a female, as being the very first female 60 Minutes Correspondent. She has also anchored for ABC World News. Not only has Diane made a name for herself in the world of media and journalism but she was also heavily involved in politics in the beginning of her career as well. She was a member of former U.S. President Richard Nixon's White House Staff. After leaving office she made a name for herself by anchoring and and setting records such as I mentioned, becoming the first female correspondent for 60 Minutes. During the time she was on the show it was ranked as one of the most watched programs in the country. She also has another renowned show known as 20/20, where she broke out the store of Caitlyn Jenner in a highly publicized program. Caitlyn Jenner Opens up to Diane Sawyer. Diane has also been very vocal about the criticism she has received, once stating, "“A criticism is just a really bad way of making a request...so just make the request.” She is one very strong woman and has definitely taken the world by storm.
