Smart TVs and Personal Info

For years now 'Smart TVs have been seen as being a fun, innocent utility for families to view media. As the years go by and companies become 'smarter' with technology, there is an increase in consumer/technological advances. Take for instance Amazon's Alexa or Echo Dot: These devices are able to communicate and transmit information from human to computer database. According to cnet, there is much more than a direct command to one of these devices. Chris Matyszczyk claims that these devices record all noise in the area and possibly sell to third parties.
