Hank Phillippi Ryan once said "At the core of investigative journalism is exactly the same thing that drives a page-turning thriller: telling a great story." When I ponder on this quote there is one movie that instantly comes to mind. "The Help"which was released in 2011. The movie is about a young lady who gets a job working for the local newspaper as the editor of the "Household Tips" column. Skeeter started to ask maids and other women on advice in regards to the column. After researching and listening she noticed that the maids had better stories to tell starting with how they were being treated. It is through Skeeter's determination and passion to share the stories of the maids that their voices were finally heard and even made the stories into a book.
