Thieves in OUR neighborhood???? -21 February 2019
Thanks to the new app called "Neighbors App," we can now see up close and personal what is happening inside our neighborhoods. Recently, in Allen, Texas, there has been some local car break-ins in the middle of the night. One of my neighbors personally caught a man breaking into his car with his security camera on his front porch. After viewing this incident on the Neighbors App I decided to take it to another level and see what one of my neighbors thought of it. My neighbor wanted to remain anonymous but stated, "It convinced me to go out and purchase my own security cameras for my families safety." The main rhetorical choice I came upon when interviewing people was an appeal to emotion. The break-ins caused people to not feel safe anymore, persuading them to make purchases to make them feel safer. [143 words, 1 quotation, 1 link, and 2 images]
