Airline Mishap

A United Airlines flight was diverted after a strong odor left passengers feeling ill

An airline had to stop unexpectedly after a fuel induced odor was causing passengers to feel sick. After they were safely on the ground, there were many passengers who had to be hospitalized, due to the way they were feeling. Many complained of nausea and headaches, which are common with strong odors, especially when in an enclosed space. All people affected by the fumes have seen a positive turn around, and "United Airlines representatives offered to take care of the hospital bills and other expenses" (Lou, 2019). After the incident, the airline crew has required a prolonged ventilation system management to further excavate the odor that left these people ill.
United Airlines flight 1675 diverted to Dulles International Airport earlier today after passengers reported feeling ill from a strong odor in the cabin.
