Bullying in Public School Gone Too Far?

Raniya Wright, a 5th grader, recently died due to a fight that broke out in the classroom. Another classmate who had been allegedly bullying here had gotten into a fight with Wright. The fight didn't stop until Wright was found unconscious and taken to the nurse. Wright was then rushed to the hospital in which she was declared dead. CNN has reported that the other student has since been expelled. Wright's mother has taken to Twitter to talk about this issue and inform other mothers how severe bullying can get in schools.

Although the student was expelled, the school board has been "quiet on this issue." It seems that "no charges were filed" and because of privacy laws, not much information can be disclosed. This case is some what of a mystery at the moment but I hope that the proper measures will be taken to make public schools safer for students.
