Journalists in the wild: Robert Fisk

Robert Fisk can be described as unique and apart of history. Fisk happens to have made monumental moves in his career that other journalists will never be able to achieve. Which is exactly why Fisk has been recognized as an impactful journalists in this generation and future generations as well. Robert Fisk has been a journalists since 1972, though he didn’t get his recognition until later on. Specifically robert is known for his journalism in the middle east. Fisk still continues on reporting conditions and eventful circumstances in Israel and Iraq. He is very committed to his work and has lived in the middle east for over forty years now just to continue with his passion. This has opened many doors for Fisk, most people respect his work for it’s “unbiased” outlook. Being ruled unbiased is something that is almost impossible to find, everyone has a certain bias, Fisk is able to cover this up and report strictly information presented. This is probably why he was able to get an exclusive interview with Osama Bin Laden not once, but three times. Considering the political standpoint of him being a person of interest it was worldly known. It might have been Roberts degree in political science that helped him get into a position of being an unbiased, historical, and impactful journalist. I hope that everyone gets a chance to take a look at his work, because he is well spoken and able to retrieve information that others have been digging for but could not obtain.
