Journalists
Hamza Mohamed is an Al Jazeera journalist who focuses on Sub-Saharan Africa. An article that was written by him talks about refugees from 15 different countries having to deal with a displacement crisis. Many of these refugees are unaware of this crisis and Mohamed proves this by including a quote mentioned by a refugee that states "I don't know what is happening next door, how can I know what is happening somewhere else" (Mahi). This explains people who suffer from this situation don't know of any other problems that can be happening around them due to lack of communication. A picture is included in this article that says how Sub-Saharan Africa holds more than a fifth of the world's refugee population. This shows the reader the amount of people who are looking for homes and had to leave their country due to problems.
