The Delivery of news- 20 March 2019

Instagram and Snapchat both deliver news to their viewers but in opposite ways. Both media apps portray news with multiple differing rhetorical strategies. Pew Research Center states, " two-thirds of Americans report that they get at least some of their news from social media."
Instagram uses pop-ups to get news across to its users while they are scrolling through their feed page. The news pop-ups usually have a link and a video with the caption containing some information about the subject.
On the other hand, Snapchat has a news feed page where they show their users all the lastest funkiest news. They use colorful cover pages and creative titles to grasp the user's attention. It is nice that they give the user an option whether or not they would like to view it, unlike Instagram where the viewer has to see it.
Social Media all find a way to get the news to their viewers in multiple differing ways. [158 words, 1 images, 1 quote, 1 link]
